Junior Harriers at the PECO XC

Well done

... to the 39 juniors who took part in the first Bradford Athletics Network Sportshall Athletics competition organised by 'One in a Million Athletics Club' at Richard Dunn on Saturday. I was so impressed with all of you so very well done. I will forward results to you when they are available.

.... to the 20 juniors who raced in the fifth and final PECO League XC event at Esholt on Sunday. Results, League Tables The prizegiving ceremony (I believe) is going to be at the Leodiensian Club, Alwoodley in May (there will be junior races too), but this still has to be confirmed. Spring Coaching Programme

Monday: Sportshall Athletics, 11 - 15 years, IGS sportshall. Session 1: 5.30 to 6.30 and session 2: 6.30 to 7.30.

Tuesday: Specific Track & Field sessions, 9 to 18 years at Ghyll Royd School. 6pm to 7pm (Hurdles) and 7pm to 8pm (Jumps & Throws).

Wednesday: Speed & Endurance Running at ILT&SC, 5.30 to 6.15pm suitable for XC, Fell and Endurance track runners between 8 and 16 years.

Wednesday: High Jump (Fosbury style) at Ghyll Royd School for years 6 and older, 6pm to 7pm. Also by invitation a 45 minute session for years 5 & 6 from local primary schools, 5.15 to 6pm.

Thursday: Sportshall Athletics, 8 - 11 years, IGS gym. Session 1: 5.40 to 6.40 and Session 2: 6.45 to 7.45.

Saturday: Family Fell Run on Ilkley Moor for 8 to 16 yrs and parents, 9.30am to 10.30am, all abilities. Meet on the grass opposite Darwin Gardens.
