Ilkley Harriers Ilkley Incline race
The Ilkley Incline is a unique, 1 mile, uphill-only race where 560ft of climbing will be rewarded with stunning views across the Wharfe Valley. The route starts on tarmac road, which then becomes stony track. This friendly race attracts road and trail runners alike.
Details
- Start at 7pm on Wednesday 4th September, pre-entry just £4 via this link, or £5 on the night
- Number collection registration from 6pm
- FRA CS (Category C, Short) fell race - 1.6km/171m (1 mile, 560' climb), uphill only
- Start at foot of Keighley Road at junction with Wells Road, GR SE 114469
- Follow tarmac road then good track uphill
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and females plus age category prizes. Prize-giving immediately after the race.
